Awesome giveaway! I like to have spatulas, whisks, and other cooking utensils within arms reach while I’m cooking so I don’t have to open drawers and cabinets in search of what I need. I used to hide everything away but now I store them in large crocks and they’re available when I need them. Efficient and organized! 🙂

I have a 7ft tall Hoosier-style cabinet that holds all of my large items – stand mixer, blender, platters, serving pieces, waffle maker, etc. – freeing up space on my counter and in my kitchen cabinets for the things I used on a regular basis. The best thing I ever purchased at an estate sale!
I try to find multi uses for my gadgets so I don’t have to have so many of them…hmm. That’s not working so well for me. This would be an ultimate space saver for me!

The cabinets (2) above my refrigerator are very deep and not too high. I have 2 rectangular baskets… I put all the accessories for the Cusinart food processor in one and ‘miscellaneous’ small appliances in the other. This way I can reach up and pull out the basket I need and not have to get a step stool to see what slipped to the way way back of that deep cabinet.
I have drawers and cabinets set aside for everything and make sure to put it back when I am done with it.
I keep my kitchen organized by just having what I need.

Once a year I pull all my cooking gadgets and what not in a big box. Over the next few weeks if I take something out of the box I put it back in a drawer. At the end of the month whatever is left in the box I donate to a local charity. (Excluding things like turkey basters that only get used once a year, of course)

My whisks, spatulas, etc are in crocks near the range, as many do. But one of the biggest things that has helped eliminate the mess? I got rid of all the T-ware and started using deli containers I buy at the local restaurant supply store. They come in cup, pint and quart sizes, nest inside each other, and the same lids fit all. They cost about 10 cents each–are reusable, but at that price, you don’t feel too bad occasionally tossing one (when you find one in the back of the fridge with a ‘science experiement’ growing in it). Just switching to those containers has really cleared up a lot of space and mess.
I love a organized kitchen, it makes me a happy cook. My secret to my kitchen is everything has a place but that’s not to say it’s always in it’s place because of the OTHERS (family) who don’t always put things away right. No worries, though, I like to organize so lets say, I do it often 🙂

I keep things very organized by using the OXO clear containers with pop up lids. They are wide enough to be able to scoop out foods with measuring cups. This saves on having canister sets and storage containers.
One useful thing I have in my kitchen for organization are the OXO clear storage containers with pop up lids. I have a variety of sizes. They are wide enough that I can use measuring cups in them so I do not have to use canisters and storage containers. Love these

I use several Command hooks in a closet to hang colanders, etc., to keep them out of the way but still easy to find. I also found smaller command hooks that hold cooking utensils. I put those inside my cabinets and hung several utensils that way since draw space and countertop space is so limited in my kitchen.
I use cup hooks to hang pans in cabinet and towel racks to hold lids. I also use under the shelf cup holders to hang my measuring cups and spoons.
I emptied my cupboards to paint them, and in particular discovered my very large plastics cupboard had collected numerous containers from ready made food products such as lunch meat as example, had gathered there. It seemed like I was constantly digging and trying to match lid to container! The container box stayed in storage for a couple weeks while I painted. After, almost 1/2 that box went away and I’ve not regretted it for a minute and no more digging!
Everything has a place! Once a month, I go through the cabinets and drawers and straighten – and make sure that every thing has a use. Otherwise? Donate! We’re big into stacking so this set would be amazing to save space!

I like for my kitchen to be organized and I never store food in my cabinets. I have all foods in a pantry, but in other homes I have used cupboards. Everything is visible and easy to reach. All of my spices are arranged alphabetically and when one is getting low, I turn it upside down so when I am making my grocery list, I can immediately see which ones need to be replaced.
My kitchen was a jumble of pots and pans, platters, small appliances, plates, cups, wine glasses you name it! The problem is that the kitchen is a part of your life that you rarely re-evaluate. Now I keep all stuff I don’t use on a regular basis outside in the shed CLEARLY MARKED. My cabinets now have 4 of everything (4 plates,4 mugs, etc…)
I get rid of clutter. If it’s not being used, it goes!

My kitchen stays organized as long as family puts things where they belong. I periodically clear things out that are not being used,
What a terrific way to be organized- great idea.
I keep my kitchen organized by getting rid of things that are broken, missing parts, ugly or they don’t make me happy. I’m not real sentimental, which helps. I use gadgets, but prefer good, solid tools-like a good knife or food processor, cast iron pans over some new “as seen on tv” kind of cooker or gadget. Helps me to avoid clutter.
My kitchen is so full of gadgets that I have to be extremely organized otherwise I’d never get anything done. Everything has it’s place and I know exactly where to find just what I need when I need it.

I keep my utensils organized in a deep drawer by creating a drawer separator from Ikea wood shelves. They are prefinished, and I cut them down to size. Used them on end to create slide in separators. That gives me an 8 inch deep utensil holder.

Less is more! I keep gadgets to a minimum and limit the amount of pots and pans I have. Versatility is the number 1 requirement of anything I have in my kitchen. Anything that sits around without being used for a while is given away or sent to a box in the attic if I can’t bear to part with it.

I keep my kitchen organized by using drawer organizers for my utensil drawers so that each type of utensil is in the same section. I also have 2 spice racks-one for “everyday spices” like oregano, basil, garlic powder, etc. and the other for more “ethnic” spices like curry, chili powders, etc.. so I always know what spice is where. Also keep my pantry shelves in order with things i grab the most at eye level…boxed goods on one shelf, canned goods on the next, vinegars and oils on another, baking goods on the bottom cuz I’m not much of a baker!

I keep jar lids in separate resealable baggies, each baggie containing one size of lid, such as wide mouth mason jars, standard mason jars. I do the same for plastic Ziploc containers. I never have to fish around for the right size.
