Green Tea Tropical Smoothie

We’ve had an unusually cold winter this year and it makes me long for a visit to a warm and sunny island. This creamy fruit and tea smoothie takes me there, if only for a few minutes.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces coconut milk
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks, plus 6 chunks for garnish
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 1/2 teaspoons high quality matcha green tea powder
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2-3 ice cubes
Instructions
- Process all ingredients in a high speed blender for about 45 seconds or until pineapple is fully liquefied. Pour into glasses. Spear extra pineapple chunks on toothpicks; serve over the rim of the glass.
Notes
Frozen pineapple will also work - you may not need the ice cubes in that case.
