These come together so quick & easy. They’re fantastic straight from the oven. Watch your guests scarf them down.

Ingredients

  • For the bread:
  • 1 French Baguette, sliced in half long ways, cut into 2” pieces
  • Olive Oil Spray
  • For the topping:
  • 6 ounce package sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups roughly chopped marinated artichoke hearts
  • ½ cup finely chopped pickled jalapeno peppers (or to your own taste)
  • ½ cup finely chopped roasted red peppers
  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375. Place baguette slices on a cooking sheet and spray the tops generously with olive oil spray. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, place the remaining ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Stir well to combine.
  3. Once the bread is toasted, generously top each slice with a scoop of the cheese and artichoke mixture. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and the tops are just starting to brown, about 15 minutes. Slice bread into 1" slices & serve.
