This is a very easy but delicious granita, great to pair with cut fruit for a nice brunch twist!

Ingredients

  • For the Granita:
  • 3 tablespoons Bonne Maman raspberry preserves
  • 3 tablespoons Champagne or other sparkling wine
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • For the Fruit:
  • Half of a honeydew melon

Instructions

  1. Mix together raspberry preserves, Champagne and water.
  2. Transfer mixture to a freeze-proof 6-cup size container and freeze for 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Scrape frozen raspberry mixture with a fork.
  4. Cut honey dew in small cubes or scoop using a mellon baller. Put into glasses and top with granita.
