2002 IGA FOODS HOMETOWN
HOLIDAYS COOK-OFF
CCCentral member Jackie Smola was a Finalist in the IGA Hometown Holidays Recipe Contest, held April 12 in Chicago, Ill. "They put us up at the Downtown Marriott (VERY NICE!), and treated us to dinner at Cafe Pazzio," she said. The cook-off was held at the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago (CHIC), a Cordon Bleu affliated culinary school.

"After the cook-off, we went into the kitchens as teams to prepare our own dinner for the night, from recipes provided by the chefs. It was so much fun!" Jackie said. "We then were wined and dined at the CHIC dining room, and were invited out for the evening afterwards to see Chicago night life. They paid for everything and made us feel so special."
