2003 BUILD A BETTER BURGER COOK-OFF
 
The annual Build a Better Burger Recipe Contest always attracts a high number of participants and CCC'ers have always represented a large number of the finalist entries.  I guess you could say that all Americans (both CCC member & non-members) continue to love their burgers any way they can get them -- fried, broiled or grilled.  The event was held in the Napa Valley, California.

Susan Mello won the grand prize of $20,000. Other CCC finalists included Mary Beth Harris-Murphree, Lillian Julow,Nikki Norman, Carole Resnick, Elaine Sweet & Liz Barclay. Nikki won $5,000 People's Choice Award for burgers &
Elaine won $5,000 award for best potato dish.
