Time for another giveaway CCC!
Last week I attended the Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. It is an event I look forward to every year! Imagine row after row of the latest and greatest gadgets, gizmos, and cookware. Absolute foodie heaven.
While I was in town I had the opportunity to attend a dinner sponsored by Calphalon and hosted by Chef Michael Symon!
This is his latest cookbook, Michael Symon’s Carnivore: 120 Recipes for Meat Lovers
In fact, it’s an autographed copy!
Chef Symon demonstrated some recipes from the cookbook, and guests were able to check out all the latest and greatest from Calphalon.
I love how they used a saucepan as a floral centerpiece! You can take a peek at the menu: “1960’s Americana Food with a Twist.”

What an interesting man and love that he is so passionate about family.
I’d dig winning it because I’ve a small farm . I raise a few head of grassfed beef – the ONLY way to raise ’em – and at times a pig or two, lambs, chickens (of course) and yep, the occasional goat. Always looking for ideas and tips. Also, I love the guy’s show.

I love Michael Symon! I was just introduced to him, officially, on the Chew just a few weeks ago, but I have seen him off and on over the past few years on various Food Network things. And hey, Michael Symon and Calphalon (as a sales associate for a company that sells Calphalon), you really cannot go wrong with that kind of cookware or such a charismatic chef. Why wouldn’t you want to have a book autographed by a man with such great joie de vivre?!
