This is a super easy breakfast that you can make on the morning after a big meal with leftover rice. You’ll soon find yourself making extra rice at your meals so that you will have the excuse to have a rice bowl for breakfast. You can easily personalize the whole family’s rice bowl with their favorite preserves flavor.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup leftover cooked white rice
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp. coconut sugar
  • 1 T. Bonne Maman Peach Preserves
  • Pinch of orange zest

Instructions

  1. Put cooked rice in a microwave safe bowl. Pour almond milk on top. Sprinkle with coconut sugar. Spoon Bonne Maman Peach Preserves into the center. Sprinkle orange zest over all. Microwave on high for about 1 minutes 30 seconds, until warmed through. Enjoy!

    Sounds yummy. I am going to try it with dates and a zest of orange instead of the peachs.
