Breakfast Rice Bowl
This is a super easy breakfast that you can make on the morning after a big meal with leftover rice. You’ll soon find yourself making extra rice at your meals so that you will have the excuse to have a rice bowl for breakfast. You can easily personalize the whole family’s rice bowl with their favorite preserves flavor.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup leftover cooked white rice
- ½ cup almond milk
- 1 tsp. coconut sugar
- 1 T. Bonne Maman Peach Preserves
- Pinch of orange zest
Instructions
- Put cooked rice in a microwave safe bowl. Pour almond milk on top. Sprinkle with coconut sugar. Spoon Bonne Maman Peach Preserves into the center. Sprinkle orange zest over all. Microwave on high for about 1 minutes 30 seconds, until warmed through. Enjoy!
Sounds yummy. I am going to try it with dates and a zest of orange instead of the peachs.
