Cocoa Covered “Everything” Smoothie

This fantastic smoothie combines cocoa, berries, kale, oats, and a host of other super foods to start or end your day on a healthy and delicious note! It’s also perfect for dessert, and you won’t feel guilty afterward. Who needs a milkshake meltdown when you can have something delicious AND full of nutrition?
My kids love it, and so do I!
Ingredients
- 1 cup loosely packed chopped kale
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1/8 cup oats
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/8 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup brewed green tea, cooled
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (OPTIONAL)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a blender and puree together until smooth. Add more green tea if you want a thinner consistency. Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
Notes
I leave out the chia seeds when serving to kids.
