Sparkling Hibiscus Cocktail
Enjoy this dynamic “Sparkling Hibiscus Cocktail” on a warm summer evening!
Ingredients
- Cocktail
- 4 ounces premium vodka
- 3 tablespoons Hibiscus syrup from a 8 oz jar of Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup*
- 2 tablespoons mint simple syrup
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- club soda (approx. 1/2-1/3 cup)
- Mint Simple Syrup:
- 3/4 cup fresh mint (large stems removed)
- 3/4 cup cold (filtered) water
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Cocktail Directions: Place vodka, hibiscus syrup, cooled simple syrup and fresh lime juice in a cocktail shaker filled half way with ice. Shake until well blended and strain into 2 prepared (ice filled) glasses. Top with a small amount of club soda.
- Mint Simple Syrup: Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Turn off heat and allow to sit for 8 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve (discard solids). Makes approx. 3/4 cup syrup.
