Italian Black Bean Hummus

This is such a delicious and easy snack, has a tiny hint of spice, and you don’t feel guilty eating it!

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 5 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 TBS parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In your food processor start by blending the rinsed and drained black beans. With food processor running, slowly add in each ingredient until well blended. When finished spoon into a serving bowl and serve with your choice of veggies or crackers, enjoy!
