My Chia Very Berry Bubbly

This berry smoothie is filled with superfood ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons oat flakes
  • 6 oz. nonfat Greek raspberry yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 slice (1/4-inch) fresh ginger
  • 1 cup cold lime or lemon club soda

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberry juice and chia seeds in a small container. Let sit for 15 minutes or overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Place soaked chia seeds in Vitamix. Add oats, yogurt, frozen blackberries and ginger pressed through a garlic press. Process until smooth.
  3. Divide smoothie into 2 8-oz. wine glasses. Fill glass up with lime soda, about 1/2 cup each. Serve with a fizzle stick.

Notes

This healthy smoothie is light and refreshing. It has plenty good for you ingredients and it is just right to share with a friend at the end of the day or anytime you want a smoothie.
