Purple Sunrise Smoothie

With oats, berries, and yogurt, this smoothie is a nutritious breakfast on the go!
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup prepared steel cut oats
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup low fat buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons organic blue agave
- 1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 6 ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except the ice in a blender. Starting on the lowest speed, blend until smooth, gradually increasing the speed.
- Add the ice cubes and again blend until smooth.
- Strain through a seive into a glass.
- If desired, garnish with a mint sprig and serve.
