S’mores Bacon Bark is the perfect blend of sweet and salty! Plus it combines my two favorite things bacon and s’mores.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 ounces cooked bacon
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • 16 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup Maple Crown Royal

Instructions

  1. Line 8 x 8 pan with parchment with a one-inch overhang on each side. Set aside. Heat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Pour the condensed milk into a medium sauce pan. Put it on medium-low heat, stirring continuously. (for 10-15 minutes). The condensed milk will become like a caramel sauce.
  3. Make sure to pat the bacon and crumble or cut into small pieces. Add egg white to a bowl and whisk till nice and foamy. Add cayenne. Mix well. Toss bacon in the egg mixture and put on lined baking sheet and into the oven for 30 mins.
  4. Place chocolate in a heat-proof bowl above simmering water. Stir until fully melted. Pour half of melted chocolate into the prepared parchment-lined pan. Then using spread chocolate into even layer. Transfer pan to freezer to chill for about 5 minutes or until melted chocolate becomes solid.
  5. Place half of the marshmallows in a large saucepan and add Crown Royal. Stir on low until melted and mixed. Remove from heat and add the rest of the marshmallows mix to combine. Spread marshmallow mixture over solid chocolate layer.
  6. Pour caramel on top of marshmallow layer. Then spread caramel until smooth. Transfer pan to freezer to chill for about 5 minutes or until caramel becomes slightly hardened.
  7. Pull bacon out of oven and crumble or cut into fine pieces.
  8. Pour remaining half of chocolate over caramel layer and spread chocolate until smooth. Sprinkle and gently press bacon crumble into chocolate, Return fully assembled bark to refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes or until bark becomes solid. Bring bark to almost room temperature before cutting.

Notes

If you want a little more heat, try adding more cayenne pepper.
