We are thrilled to announce that Cooking Contest Central has teamed up with the World Food Championships to host 3 recipe contests exclusively for our members! 

Chili, Pasta and Bacon.

These contests are official qualifying events for the 2015 World Food Championships.  The grand prize winners will receive “Golden Ticket” entries into the championships as well as other exciting prizes.

The first contest is the “CCC Chili Cook-Off” a qualifying event for the World Open Chili Championship.

For this contest we are looking for your best chili recipes. Show off your skills and you could win big!

Prize Details:

• “Golden Ticket” entry to the World Open Chili Championship at the 2015 World Food Championships
• The winner will also receive a Cuisinart® Cook Central!

This appliance does it all and will be the perfect tool to utilize at the WFC. You can brown or saute ingredients right in the unit – no stovetop required – and you can switch to Slow Cook or Roast with the touch of a button for effortless combination cooking. 

NOTE:  Travel and accommodations to the World Food Championships are not provided through this contest.  The “Golden Ticket” prize only includes the entry fee into the WFC.

Contest Rules

Eligibility:  Only current members* of Cooking Contest Central may enter this exclusive contest.  All recipes and photography must be your original work. (Sharing original recipes and photography from your personal blog is allowed.)

Photos:   A photo of your recipe is required for entry.  Photos will not be judged.  (Smartphone images or snapshots are just fine!)

Judging:  Recipes will be judged on taste (50%), creativity (35%), and appearance (15%) by a third-party food and recipe expert.
