This refreshing appetizer is quick and easy to make, presents beautifully with it’s bright color and is packed full of flavor. Make ahead of time and marinate a few hours to overnight in the refrigerator to get the best flavor. A perfect appetizer for events as it requires very little prep time!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/s teaspoon course ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced shallot
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole grain mustard
  • 4 ounces Fresh salmon small diced (¼ inch pieces)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon finely chopped pickled ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped green onion
  • 2 Tablespoons finely chopped cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Place oil, lime juice, soy sauce, pepper, salt, shallot and mustard into a small bowl and whisk until well combined.
  2. Add the salmon, ginger, green onion and tomato. Stir to combine well. Refrigerate until well chilled.

Notes

Serve inside Asian soup spoons.
