Varadero Shores Coconut Lime Cocktail

This cocktail will take you on a trip to Cuba where you can lounge on a hammock along the Varadero Shores. The lime and Coconut flavors reminded me of a tropical paradise. The Blue Curacao carefully added became the blues and greens of the ocean. The bright fruity garnishes looked like the colorful umbrellas on the beach. The only thing that was missing was the white sandy shore. The creamy froth that was gently spooned on top of the drink accomplished that.
Ingredients
- Coctail ingredients
- 2 parts limeade (exampl 4 oz. )
- 1 part Malibu rum with Coconut Liqueur (example 2 oz)
- ½ part Blue Curacao (example 1 oz.)
- Drink Topping and Garnish
- 1 part heavy cream (example 1 T.)
- 2 parts Sprite or 7up (example 2 T.)
- Limes for drink and garnish
- Strawberries and oranges for garnish if desired.
Instructions
- Fill a glass with crushed ice. Place three slices of lime in glass. Mix together limeade and rum. Pour into glass. Slowly drizzle Blue Curacao over top. Whisk or shake cream and Sprite to a froth. Spoon over top of drink. Garnish with Slice of strawberry, lime, and orange if desired.
Notes
Number of servings can vary quite a bit by following the "parts" measuring.
