Sweet and Smokey Salmon on Biscuits
This is a quick and easy Brunch recipe using Bonne Maman Orange Marmalade which blends well with Salmon.
Ingredients
- 12 ounces skinned salmon fillet cut into one inch cubes
- 3 ounces deli sliced smoked salmon
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 ounce fresh ginger, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup Bonne Maman Orange Marmalade
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons canola oil, divided
- 4 Buttermilk Biscuits
Instructions
- Place first six ingredients into a food processor container with steel blades. Pulse few times till salmon pieces are chopped and blended with other ingredients.
- Transfer the mixture to a plate. Divide into four equal parts. Oil the hands and form four patties.
- Heat remaining oil in 12inch non-stick sauté pan to medium. Place the patties and cover. Cook for 3-4 minutes till opaque. Turn them over and cook for 2-3 minutes more till cooked through. Remove them to a plate.
- Place the patties between the split biscuits and serve.
